Our 63rd Annual Olympian Awards Banquet took place on Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Robert Livermore Community Center.
As athletes and their parents arrived, they had an opportunity to view a slide show of action photos from this year's games. In addition, over a hundred sports posters were displayed which athletes took home at the conclusion of the evening with the Boosters complements.

The event began with an invocation, delivered this year by Andre Ward, the WBA/WBC World Middleweight Boxing Champion and 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist.

Early in the evening's program, Boosters Director Kevin Drake inducted three new members into the Livermore Sports Hall of Fame: community member Al Caffodio (deceased), three sport Livermore High athlete Mike Martinez, and professional football player from Granada, Louie Aguiar.

Boosters' Varsity Team Awards were presented to a member of each team selected by players on that team. Click HERE (not yet available) to download this year's recipients.
LHS Principal Darrel Avilla and GHS Principal Philomena Rambo then introduced each of the male Olympian Scholarship Finalists.
The boys' Olympian Scholarship awards were presented to Tsuyoshi Kohlgruber and Jaimeson Cortez.

The last event of the evening was the showing of RIVALS 2012, the annual video highlighting games between Livermore and Granada in each sport. Click HERE to view Rivals 2012 in flash format.
Finally, souvenir placemats listed each of the finalists, past and current Hall of Fame inductees, and announced our upcoming September 14th Livermore-Granada Alumni football game as well as our 3rd Annual Run to the Flagpole on November 10.
